News Update on the Headley Pavilion September 2025

The rate of progress is impressive. When we attend the monthly site meetings it seems like we are entering a different building! All the ground work (drains etc.) is complete, the new flat roof and balcony is complete, the roof repairs have been done and tiling was completed at the end of August. Electrical installation is well under way including a new security system and an induction loop for people with hearing aids is under the main hall floor.

As soon as the new screed in the main hall floor has hardened, work can continue in that area. In the meantime, fitting out of corridors, changing rooms and toilets is continuing. This includes electrics, plumbing, heating and ventilation so there is still plenty to be done.

We have now approved the bar and kitchen fittings. These will be built to last and continue to look good for years to come. We can’t want for the Grand Opening so everyone can see the finished building! However, we will have to be patient and bring you news as the work progresses month by month.
