PEG Working Party at Standford Green
This week Cllr. Steve Thair organised a working party of Headley’s Parish Enhancement Group members to clear the pathway that runs from Standford Green to the Hatch Farm Watermeadows. This is a permissive path and the surrounding vegetation had become very overgrown along its length. With the kind permission of the landowner, Cllr. Steve Thair, Cllr. Tony Williamson, Cllr. Sarah Belotti and Cllr. Neville Merritt with all the gardening tools at their disposal bravely hacked away enough brambles, nettles and bracken to make a trip to the watermeadows a more enjoyable experience.
