Top-up grants being issued

Businesses that qualify for local restrictions support grants for the current national lockdown, tier four restrictions in December or the November 2020 lockdown are now being automatically issued with top-up grants of up to £9,000.

Over £3million in grants have been issued (Friday 22 January) to every eligible business that the council has issued a local restrictions support grant to since November. Payments will reach bank accounts next week.

If you have been forced to close your business during national lockdowns or tier four restrictions but have not yet applied for a grant, please complete a local restrictions support grant application for the earliest date that you qualify.

Businesses eligible for tier two grants (from 3-25 December 2020) should apply separately for these grants as the criteria are different.
