Free parking for Christmas events in Alton

East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) has teamed up with Alton Town Council to provide free parking in the town to encourage local shopping in the build up to Christmas.

Parking will be free in all car parks in the town from 5pm on Friday 19 November for the town council’s ‘A Marmot Family Christmas’ event.

Free parking will also be available in Lady Place car park from 10am to 2pm every Saturday from 20 November to 11 December 2021 to support the Christmas markets in the town.

PLEASE NOTE

While there will be posters in the participating car parks, ticket machines will not be covered and RingGo will still accept payments. East Hampshire District Council is unable to refund any payments made during the free parking period or unused time paid that overlaps with it.
