Fareshare Mobile Larder @ Woodlands Hall starting 26 October 2021

The Larder is a community larder run by volunteers for the benefit of their local community.

We are located in the car park at:  Woodlands Community Hall, Larch Road ,Headley Down GU35 8AS 

EVERY: Tuesday , between 1pm – 2.30pm, starting 26 October 2021.

We are a membership scheme aimed at helping people make their money go further by reducing food shopping bills (members can make a considerable saving each year)

How to join

A membership form needs to be completed and proof of address/ID needs to be provided. Unless a recognised referral agent refers you to the scheme. Application forms need to be requested by emailing:FSSouthernCentral@fareshare.org.uk  or access reception and they will be able to give you a paper copy.

When completed your application needs to be returned to FareShare Southern Central, Unit 1 Sunset Business Park, Totton, SO40 3WX

Membership Levels

MEMBERSHIPS VARY DEPENDENT ON   THE SIZE OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD: INITIALLY MEMBERSHIP FEES CAN ONLY BE PAID IN CASH.

SINGLE PERSON – £2.50 PER WEEK – FOR THIS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 10 PRODUCTS PER WEEK, INCLUDING SOME FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

2-PERSON HOUSEHOLD – £3.50 PER WEEK – FOR THIS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 15 PRODUCTS PER WEEK, INCLUDING SOME FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

4-PERSON HOUSEHOLD – £5.00 PER WEEK – FOR THIS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 25 PRODUCTS PER WEEK, INCLUDING SOME FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

Your bag will be prepared, in advance; we will strive to offer a variety of product. This can be used to make up a meal or top up your cupboards/fridge.

 It is estimated that your bag will hold an average of £10-£15 worth of produce (dependent on household size) A typical bag can consist of some of these items: Pasta, rice, coffee, tea bags, tinned meats, tinned fish, tinned desserts, soups,  along with fresh fruit and vegetables.

 It may also include the odd fridge product such as meat, raw/cooked and dairy items  (For this, you will need to bring with you an insulated cool bag and thermometer )
