Additional Sports Pitches for Headley Progressing Well

The transformation of a disused field into new sports pitches at the Mill Lane Playing Fields to meet local demand is progressing well.

Chairman of Headley Youth Football Club, Keith Harrison-Smith commented “As a small village, we have access to such great facilities to support local clubs in Headley with football, cricket, tennis and bowls. The new pitches will play a vital role in continuing the growth of provision for youth football and, in particular, the development of girls’ football in Headley which we are very proud to have started.”

The creation of a new parking area will ensure that there is plenty of safe parking space when the pitches are in use.
